Talk Abstract
At some point, ASP.NET was seen as a legacy of the Microsoft-centric past that the software industry wanted to forget. It underwent a significant transformation into ASP.NET Core but is now primarily regarded for building Web APIs. In this talk, I'll discuss current web frontend trends, compare them to ASP.NET and Blazor, and provide an objective comparison between ASP.NET Core and Node.js for server environments. Throughout web development history, there's been a continuous shift between client-centric and server-centric approaches, and ASP.NET can thrive in both.
